UNITING IN MARRIAGE AT TRINITY CHURCH
Each year, couples from near and far unite in marriage within Trinity’s walls. The church is a popular wedding site for its grandeur and elegance. We are also located downtown on the corner of Morgantown and West Fayette Streets within close proximity to many Uniontown reception halls. We have ample parking, and the sanctuary holds 400+ guests. Our staff would be happy to assist in making your special day all the more memorable. See below for details about having a wedding at Trinity Church.

To Schedule a Wedding at Trinity Church:
Contact the church office and speak with the church secretary or the minister concerning dates and times of both the wedding and rehearsal. If your wedding date is available on the church calendar and the pastor’s personal calendar, you may submit a wedding application, which must be returned to the church with a $100.00 deposit to secure your date.
Minister: The pastor of Trinity United Presbyterian Church is in charge of all weddings in the church. If you wish to have another minister assist him in the service, the pastor will extend an invitation.
Pre-Marriage Counseling: In helping you prepare for your wedding and marriage, you are asked to schedule counseling sessions with the pastor. Since you have chosen to be married in the church, we as a congregation are concerned that you have an opportunity to talk about the meaning of Christian marriage with our pastor. Also, the counseling sessions will give you information useful in planning your life together.
Organist: The organist at Trinity United Presbyterian Church is responsible for all weddings at the church building. If he/she is not available, arrangements will be made for a suitable substitute, or, you are free to select a musician as long as the musician is approved by our organist.
Wedding Coordinator: The wedding coordinator is required for all weddings over 30 guests. He/she will coordinate details with the bride and groom, coordinate with the florist and photographer, and assist at the rehearsal and the wedding.
Photographer: Since the wedding service is a worship service, it is our desire that all persons who share in the wedding respect this fact. Especially do we ask this of photographers (professional or amateur). Pictures may be taken during the processional and recessional. When the minister is speaking NO FLASH is to be used.
