PROGRAMS

CHILDREN

& YOUTH

Our Children's Program is held at 11:00am following the Children's Sermon in Sunday Worship on Sundays for grades K-6 during the school year.

Youth Group - Our Youth Group meets on Thursdays at 5:30pm. Special events are planned throughout the year, such as to attend the Winter Jam Christian concert in Pittsburgh. Between nerf battles and video games, our kids learn how to fellowship and relate to each other. Director James Vlosich teaches them the Bible in ways that the youth understand. They are encouraged and equipped to apply these truths and live their faith.

*Children's growth in faith is a major ministry for Trinity Church!

Each time a child is baptized, the congregation promises to provide for their nurture in the Christian faith.  We provide many activities for children as our way of fulfilling that promise.  Other special activities are planned throughout the year such as our annual Easter Egg Hunt and Vacation Bible School.

MISSION WORK

We support Interfaith Volunteer Caregivers of Fayette. Trinity Church was the founding organization for this independent volunteer agency offering assistance to those over age 60 in our community.

TRINITY MUSIC MINISTRY

New singers and ringers are always welcome!

Come, share your musical talents!  Are you a beginner?  That's great, too!

Music is an integral part of Worship at Trinity Church.  Trinity's Music Department has been acclaimed throughout the years.  Today, we hope to continue the beautiful tradition of a choir and musicians who are eager to praise the Lord through song and to musically lead the congregation in worship.

Chancel Choir

A volunteer adult choir practices weekly from September to June and sings during Sunday services, Christmas Eve, Easter and seasonal concerts. Rehearsals are Thursdays at 7:00 p.m.

Handbell Choir

Trinity Church is in possession of beautiful handbells.  We are blessed when the handbell choir performs during Worship services from September to June. Rehearsals are Thursdays at 6:00 p.m.

Children's Community Choir

Our Children's Community Choir meets on Sundays at 9:00 a.m.
They sing during services and community events throughout the year.
Call the church office to register!

Trinity Organ

Our organ is one of the largest in the region. Its diverse array of tonal colors allow for musicians to invoke a variety of 'moods' during the worship service, elevating the overall experience. Originally built in 1951 by the Austin Organ Company, it was expanded twice by Walker Technical Company (1999 and 2009); the latter expansion included a new 4-manual console, and brings the organ to 110 ranks with 103 speaking stops.

Summer Organ Scholar Program

Trinity's Summer Organ Scholar program is the first of its kind in our area. Modeled closely after English cathedrals, where upwards of 8 services are held daily, this aims to give a bright, promising organ student a chance to aid the staff organists long-term (in the form of an appointment for one or two academic years).

Our fresh take on this model appoints an organ student to serve as the sole organist of the church for a period of 12 weeks. The Organ Scholar is chosen by way of a competitive audition and interview process with the Organ Scholar Selection and Worship & Music Committees, or their designees.

The Organ Scholar works very closely with the Director of Music, and is advised by the organist during their time with us.

Our Summer 2025 Organ Scholar is
Badyn Woodford.
Applications for the Summer 2026 iteration of this program will be available in February.
